Renowned Ghanaian gospel musician, Dr. Sonnie Badu, recently captivated audiences at his "Rhythms of Africa" worship concert, held at the Independence Square in Accra. The event, sponsored by Agromonti Company, was a spectacular night of praise and worship, but it was also a showcase of divine fashion.
One of the highlights of the evening was Dr. Badu's stunning outfit, a vibrant three-piece ensemble adorned with intricate beadwork. The musician shared the inspiration behind his choice of attire, revealing a collaboration with renowned Ghanaian designer, Elikem Kumordzie.
“For my outfits, we planned two, so I enlisted the top two male designers in Ghana. This year, I wanted something bright, moving away from my traditional black. I envisioned a beaded three-piece outfit, so, as usual, @elikemkumordzie got to work. He’s one of the best in West Africa. Champ, we go again next year! This time, you’ll be on the runway. Thank you very much!”
Dr. Badu's radiant ensemble not only complemented his powerful performance but also elevated the overall aesthetic of the event. It was a testament to the intersection of faith, fashion, and creativity, inspiring audiences to embrace their individuality and express themselves through style.
