DAUGHTERS OF GLORIOUS JESUS INSPIRE HOPE WITH NEW SONG RECORDED WITH NSAWAM PRISON INMATES

Daughters of Glorious Jesus, has recorded a powerful song with female inmates at Nsawam Medium Security Prison. This project, one of the most challenging in their 36-year ministry, was born out of a divine vision to bring hope and restoration to incarcerated women.   Last year, the group felt a strong conviction to visit the Nsawam Prisons. However, they wanted to do more than just offer material gifts—they sought to leave a lasting impact on the lives of the inmates. After much prayer and consideration, they decided to embark on a unique musical collaboration, recording songs with the prisoners to uplift their spirits and remind them that it’s not over.

Despite the logistical and security challenges, the group remained determined to bring this vision to life. Their perseverance paid off, resulting in a historic recording session that has touched hearts both within and beyond the prison walls.

The group expressed profound appreciation to the Ghana Prisons Service for their professionalism and support throughout the project. They also extended heartfelt thanks to the inmates who courageously participated, as well as the prison officers—including the Officer-in-Charge (OIC), the Chaplain, and others—who played key roles in teaching and coordinating the songs.

Special recognition was given to **Ceqa Foods and Beverages** (owners of *Chickenman* and *Pizzaman*) for their generous donation of meals for all inmates and officers on duty during the recording.    

As part of this inspiring project, Daughters of Glorious Jesus is set to release “Eli Eli”, one of three songs recorded with the
Nsawam Prisons Choir. The track carries a powerful message of hope, redemption, and divine intervention, reinforcing the belief that no situation is beyond God’s grace.

"Eli Eli" will be available on all digital platforms starting Wednesday, April 9, 2025.  

This initiative goes beyond music, it is a testament to faith, compassion, and the transformative power of God’s love. Through this project, Daughters of Glorious Jesus continues to shine as beacons of hope, proving that even in the darkest places, light can still break through.
