In a recent interview on JoyNews' E-Vibes with Becky, contemporary gospel musician MOG Music revealed a remarkable encounter that changed the trajectory of his life and career. He shared how a mentally challenged individual predicted his calling to serve God, a moment that marked a significant turning point in his life.
MOG Music recounted how he was walking home one day when the mentally challenged person approached him, saying, "You, Nana Yaw, will do the work of God. You better start now." This encounter coincided with a period of introspection for MOG Music, as he was contemplating whether to focus on his spiritual journey or continue down a wayward path.
In addition, MOG Music shared how he briefly ventured into secular music but faced mysterious obstacles. "I started recording secular songs, but every time, either my voice would be missing from the track or the song wouldn't be released at all," he explained. He realized that his voice was intentionally being removed from the songs, a sign that he was meant to pursue a different path.
These experiences collectively led MOG Music to embrace his calling in gospel music. "It was then that I sat down and realized that God has called me for gospel music. I need to take the things of God seriously," he said. This epiphany marked the beginning of his first album, and he has since dedicated his life and music to serving God.
MOG Music's inspiring story serves as a testament to the power of faith and divine guidance, encouraging others to listen to their inner voice and follow their calling."
