Ephesians 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

The same way when someone is under the influence of alcohol the person behaves that is the same way one should behave when he walks with the spirit of God.

When someone is under the influence of alcohol the alcohol takes full control over the person. It makes decision for the individual. A person who is truly drunk can't make decisions for himself, because everything he does is controlled by the wine.

The same way when you're truly filled with the spirit of God, you can't make decisions for yourself. The spirit of God makes decisions for you. Your emotions can't  make decisions but the spirit.

Allow the leadings of the spirit of God and see how your life will change.
