Mr Deg
In 2019, N'adom's brother, Kwabena, was the champion of the Spelling Bee. In an image where she was present during her brother's win, she eyed the trophy. She desired it with her looks.
In 2022, she jumped on the train to win the Spelling Bee. She won, making her family and the nation proud of her for competing in the bigger contest in the US.
In 2023, she bounced back once more to the contest, and guess what, she nailed it. She made history. Impressive zeal by N'adom. N'adom has won it for the second time.
The competition ended with a third win her mother would be proud of. During this year's competition, her mother, Grace Darko-Asare, was honored for her immense contribution to her two children being past Spelling Bee champions.
Honoring her parent is a good gesture, I must say. Behind the champions, behind the feat, behind the medals, are parents who go the extra mile to put their kids on the right track to achieve a goal, a dream, a purpose.
Parents sometimes put themselves in uncomfortable positions to see their children win. They go the extra mile to get their kids to go a mile into greatness.
The trend of inspiration from her brother, down to N'adom, is worth saying it runs in the family. And without doubt, their parents have a hand in their feat.
Kudos to N'adom. I hope she makes aces in the US contest.
