Apostle Mike Ofosu Takyi was Born in Kwahu Abetifi to a retired cathceist Mr. Takyi Ansong and Mrs. Salomey Ansong. So you will know He has a strong church background.

Apostle is an alumni of  St. Martins Senior High school situated in Nsawam in the Eastern region of Ghana. He furthered his education at the tertiary level at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology( KNUST) where he presided as the Evangelism secretary of the National Union of Presbyterian Students- Ghana (NUPS-G). His tenure revealed a new phase of campus evangelism.

This simple but vibrant man of God   went to  Trinity Theological Seminary, University of Ghana, Legon. With his well knowledge, he is a person with a voracious appetite for more so he went to University of Ireland, Dublin.

CALL TO MINISTRY
According to him, prior to his National Service after school, the Lord revealed to him in trance that he has been posted to Kyebi, a town in the Eastern Region and it happened as the Lord has revealed. His movement to Kyebi in 2007  has proven to be divinely orchestrated.

He is currently a tutor/school pastor for Kibi Senior High Technical School (KISHTS) and the head pastor and founder of Charis Ministry International situated at Kyebi. His ministry has been very impactful on the lives of thousands of students across all grades. His initiation of the Charis Students Conference (CHASTCON) has empowered thousands of youths across the country and beyond.

Charis Ministry International began as a small fellowship in 2008 which was then called Christ Victory Fellowship. After a successful toiling, the young and vibrant man of God was found faithful to be ordained by his father Archbishop Charles Agyin Asare in 2014.

The fellowship saw a growth to become a church in that same year which has now become a fortified realm of the Kingdom; revealing the light to the body of Christ and raising responsible members to occupy various faculties of the world which includes Ministry, Academia, Profession etc.
Alongside the dynamic teaching and prophetic grace upon the man of God, his ministry has been backed by miracles signs and wonders but not only limited to the seeing of the blind, walking of the crippled and raising of the dead.

Apostle Mike Ofosu Takyi is a teacher, an author and a prophet to the nations and I believe the recorded successes in his ministry if just the tip of the iceberg.

Talking of impact, Apostle is one of a kind who like to give young people opportunity to shine and fulfil their God given potential. He loves to coach.
