Renowned Ghanaian Gospel musician, MOGmusic, has achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the first Gospel artiste from Ghana to be admitted into the prestigious Grammy Academy. The Grammy Board recently approved his application, granting him membership in this esteemed institution.
MOGmusic, also known as Pastor Nana Yaw Boakye, expressed his elation upon receiving the news, describing it as a dream come true. "This is the pinnacle every musician wishes to get to," he said in an interview with TV3. “I am glad to be putting Ghana on the map once again.”
MOGmusic's admission into the Grammy Academy is a significant achievement, recognizing his talent, dedication, and influence as a gospel artiste in Ghana. With a career spanning numerous soul-stirring songs, including award-winning hits like "Be Lifted", "Elohim", and "Living God", MOGmusic has already made a significant impact in the industry.
Beyond his contributions to gospel music, MOGmusic is also a pastor at the Royalhouse Chapel International, adding another dimension to his impactful work.
Latest Album: Koinonia Phase II
Earlier this year, MOGmusic raised the bar even higher with the launch of his latest album, 'Koinonia Phase II', building upon the success of its predecessor, 'Koinonia Phase I', which garnered international recognition with hit songs like "Grace", "Mala", and "Your Presence".
