When it comes to artists from the gospel sector featuring their colleagues from other sectors doing a joint, it is always something that breeds a lot of controversies.
Talking on Accra based radio station Neat 100.9 fm, Dr Sonnie Badu was asked how many singles he has that are out so far by the host Ola Michael ?
He answered by saying, he did a concert at bucket theater in the United States where he recorded 'my confidence', 'Eno Jara', 'Welu Welu', and he is also planning to do a single with Gramps Morgan which he is in constant conversation with.
He also stated that, he has a video separately for his single "Eno Jara'
As the "Baba" crooner was talking, he was asked if doing music with Gramps Morgan will go down well with the Gospel fraternity?
He answered by saying, he will like to do music with STONEBWOY. He said he has known the "Into the future " hit maker for almost eight years or more and that he is one of the few people who listened to him when he was starting. He further indicated that, he is very close to the artist his family and they have been in constant communication.
The "Wonder wonder" hit maker also didn't rule out a collaboration with gringo hit maker Shata Wale and Kelvin boy.
He explained that, most of these circular artists really love God just that the church didn't embrace them when they were growing up so doing gospel music with them will make a lot of impact.
He further mentioned names like Kuame Eugene who has a Presbyterian background and even Kelvin Boy who is known as a Seventh Day Adventist (S.D.A) boy are people the church should hold as their own.
We believe it will be a major breakthrough and we can't wait for the impact
