Gospel musician Ohemaa Mercy has revealed that she used to pray with Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown when she was seeking the face of God concerning childbirth.
Speaking to Osei Felicia on Onua FM’s Adwuma Adwuma, the gospel singer disclosed that she met McBrown 5 years ago and they started praying together as one thing she strongly believed in was the power of prayer.
“I think that about 5 years ago, we met and she started to pray with me. Personally, it is a prayer I believe in and nothing else,” she stated.
Ohemaa Mercy pointed out some truths about prayer and its ability to turn situations around.
“I believe with prayer, for even something that has taken long to come, God can make it happen. For things that you have tried but are not working, when you go before God yourself and communicate with him, God can make it work,” she indicated.
The ‘Ote Me Mu’ singer mentioned that she asked Nana Ama McBrown to commit her situation into the hands of God and the latter adhered to whatever she was told to do and God being so good, Baby Maxin entered the picture. Due to this, the actress was present at the Tehilah concert when she was expectant to thank God for His goodness.
“So I told my sister ‘For this thing unless we involve prayer before it’ll work’. So in all the hospital processes, she’ll call and we will pray together after which I give her some directions. This went on for some time and by the grace of God, baby Maxin was born. So when she was coming for Tehilah in 2018, she came to praise God for sustaining this child of hers,” she revealed.
Nana Ama McBrown shared her side of the story on her show, Onua Showtime on Sunday, July 16 when she hosted Ohemaa Mercy together with some other Gospel artistes.
