The third studio album ‘I Love You’ from gospel star Erica Campbell released September 15, offered fans another powerful collection of inspirational anthems. Through Atlantic Records imprints My Block Inc. and SRG-ILS Group, Campbell delivers 12 tracks rooted in her experiences of love, loss, and spiritual devotion.
‘I Love You’ builds on the success of two recent #1 singles – the Grammy-nominated “Positive” and the uplifting “Feel Alright (Blessed)”. Both songs hit #1 on Billboard’s Gospel Charts, proving Campbell still reigns supreme as a creative force in contemporary gospel.
“The “I Love You” record is special to me because it is a culmination of me totally receiving God’s love. I’ve grown to understand that He loves me as I am, but loves me enough not to let me stay as I am. These songs have taken time to record and write, and I believe it will reignite our desire for love and God’s love. Unfortunately, many people are hopeless and don’t have high expectations because of past trauma, but I promise you, this love record will reconnect you to God’s love. I am excited about my collaborations with PJ Morton and D Smoke. Also, with all of my sisters and my children, Krista, Wozy and Zaya, being a part of this record, it feels like love to me, and I pray that’s what people feel when they hear it,” shares Erica Campbell.
Beyond music, Erica Campbell connects with fans through the nationally syndicated radio show Get Up! Mornings, broadcast in over 40 markets. Her warm personality and uplifting spirit resonate with listeners daily.
With an acclaimed career spanning classic gospel duo Mary Mary to solo artist accolades like Grammys and NAACP Image Awards, Erica Campbell’s talents continue to shine on ‘I Love You’. She pours her heart into each song, blending her technical mastery with vulnerable songwriting.
This new album promises to be Campbell’s most intimate statement yet as she inspires with messages of resilience and hope. For Erica Campbell, ‘I Love You’ comes straight from the heart. source:worshippersgh.com
