The Daughters of Glorious Jesus, a celebrated all-female gospel music group, have revealed that they have never submitted an entry for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA). In a recent interview on Joy Prime's Prime Morning, they shared that their primary focus is on spreading God's word through music and transforming lives, rather than seeking awards.

"We're not interested in filing for the VGMA because our calling is to win souls for God, not to chase awards," they explained. "We don't want to be distracted from our mission."

Despite not seeking nominations, the group has accumulated numerous awards from various award schemes around the world. "If someone wants to nominate us, that's fine, but we won't be filling out forms ourselves," they said.

The trio draws inspiration from the countless testimonies of how their music has transformed lives. They shared a remarkable story of a man who was declared dead by doctors but was miraculously healed after listening to their song "Nea Yehu Yi".

Such testimonies fuel their passion to continue using their music to glorify God and make a positive impact on people's lives. The group has also mentored several musicians and remains open to training others in the gospel ministry.
