Seven secrets to a lasting relationship- Dr. Kwadwo Bempah.

Head Pastor of Holy Hill Chapel Assemblies of God, Dr. Kwadwo  Bempah has outlined seven secrets to make one's relationship last.

Speaking at a singles night in his church, he advised young people to abide by these seven secrets to make their relationship fruitful.

1. The fear of the Lord- Hatred for evil and respect for good. Psalm 119: 10, Proverbs 9:10, Job 1:1-3.

2. Word-Controlled Character- Character controlled by the word of God. Exodus 20:7, Ruth 2:1, Ruth 2:3-11.

He stated that without character, one's relationship will be shipwrecked.  
Proverbs 11:22.  
He also made it known that in a relationship, beauty is good but it doesn't guarantee a beautiful relationship.  
According to him, one of the ways to build character is to read the word of God every day.

3. Have the love of God towards your fellow partner. 1 Corinthians 13:13, John 15:12, 1 John 4:17.

4. Have respect for biblical counsel. Psalm 119: 133, Jeremiah 16:11, Psalm 119:60.

5. Have respect for experienced counsel. Proverbs 11: 14, Proverbs 15: 22, Proverbs 24: 6, Proverbs 4:1-4, 1 kings 2:1-9.

6. Humility Based on the Consciousness of God's mercy. Proverbs 16:19, Proverbs 11:2, Proverbs 29:23, Philippians 2:3.

7. Obedience to divine laws. Ecclesiastes 10:8, Matthew 19:4.
